Here is a good picture where you can compare the sizes of tents used. On the left is the pyramid tent. You can house two people semi-comfortably for a while in one of these. Remember that you have to allow space for the wood stove and a table inside. This one measures about 14 x 14 feet at the base, but that only allows for about a 10 x 10 foot living space because the walls angle in. On the right you see a cabin or wall tent. This one measures 20 x 14 and you could sleep a bunch of people inside it.
